Ben had a big day :yesss: rode to and from the center alone . I followed them but he did great .I wasn't there all day but wasn't far away .I left and went to set up the teacher with the incubator and eggs. I taught the teacher gave her the specs and they should set the eggs tomorrow .Also told her to join and told her to come here or Amy's thread for help. and want her to post pictures of the kids and the hatch We'll see if she does it .:idunno After that I went to Bargain Hunt and got Ben a big chair for the center. after that I went gun shopping at pawn shops .Didn't find anything though . And then went back to follow the van home . it was a big day . Tomorrow I'll follow them in drop off his lunch and come home .It's been a while since I've had anytime home alone. :yiipchick Think I'll pull out my wheel of chores spin it and go from there
That's a wonderful step for both of you. He gains some independence, and so do you. I hope he makes new friends there.

She's just beautiful, K.
She's a doll. I love those ringlets. They had a chili base soup that was like a tortilla soup with grilled pork belly and "exploded" corn kernels. A few bits of diced cucumber, a touch of fresh cilantro, a dollop of ricotta and some nice tortilla strips and it was awesome. Whoever was in charge of the design of the shrimp and grits has no taste buds. They ruined what could have been a good thing by dumping boiled shrimp in ala king sauce and dishing it onto a pile of hominy from the can. It was a disgrace. But when I get home I'm going to do my own interpretation with fresh shrimp scampi style on top of a bed of fresh yellow corn grits instead of pasta. And why can't I find decent sweet tea in Michigan?
*shutter* A little sweet tea is OK, like a glass every now and again, but I cannot drink much more then that. SIL makes sweet tea all the time, a little goes a long way, I like to feel refreshed after drinking tea not sugar highed

What a cutie! And look at those curls :love

And their natural her hair goes almost to her waist . their only 20 miles away and that's to far . Just how much did you have to drink at the concert anyway. that crown looks a little butch to me

Lol you saying my crown isn't pretty? Too much...I generally limit myself to one or two drinks. And they were making them strong

It's a southern thing we love it down here . The sugar buzz that is . or come to think of it just about any buzz . A wedding with an open bar is my dream of heaven . Even better when the Two mothers of the groom are there and the father of the groom is there and he is my nephew and I get an invite and he is talking about going back to Jersey with the mother of the Bride who happens to be his new DILs mother . and the other of the mother of the groom hates him and I find this all very funny and the open bar made it even funnier so I laughed through the whole weeding . drank to much danced to much and now my knee hurts to much . Did I leave anything out . Oh yeah don't know why the wedding was now the baby is already five years old

so I'm thinking there might be another one coming

Adorable!
He's feeling better then? :highfive:
Much better these days. He's likely turkey hunting tomorrow, if that tells you anything :D Thanks for asking! Saw your chicks, too cute! Best of luck with that battered box too. :fl

Howdy, y'all.  Checking in from Raleigh - Durham.  Here on business for a couple of days.  Beautiful weather, and I am going to go sample some local eats and drinks.

I left 19 turkey eggs in DH's hands for lockdown, plus all the babies, plus all the rest.  Unfortunately, he decided to try to count them and found out there's more than 150 littles.

He likes the Appenzeller Spitzhaubens, and he has no idea what the rest are.  "The gray chicks" could be blue Spitz, or Lavender Ams, or Orp/Lorps, or EEs.  "The black chicks" could be Araucana, Ameraucana, Marans, EEs.  "The ones with fat legs" are frmboy's beautiful Cornish crosses.  I wish I was there, it would be entertaining watching him try to move chicks from one pen to another.  :lau

Gosh Walnut, did you bring chickens with you!! You're in my old stomping grounds!
