French frogs

For proper care, they need bigger coop/house and due to our predators, fully enclosed large area... we have the perfect space, but can't afford all the materials and building right now... working on more duck houses already... and I will not get them without having proper set up for them...

Guineas don't need special care (peas do for sure). They love to roost in trees, and they are noisy buggers. They'll forage and are great for insect (including tick) control. I've been thinking about putting a few up at our place up north.

Exactly... though we haven't had any ticks in our yard since the ducks took it over, lol... but we have a nice weedy hill behind our house that goes into a tree line... all ours too...

Not all of our setup is pretty, but I'm a stickler for proper space/coops... ones with smaller breeding coops have huge runs, and ones with smaller pens like the ducks get to free range...

What, no daily massages and classical music piped in?

Sad does not even begin to cover it..........disgusting comes closer.

Awww, they are the cutest, tiniest little things - always had a soft spot for the quail babies during chick days during my days working at the farm store because they are so small.
Hmmmm, how does your wife feel about it all? Definitely sounds like a situation that deserves a lot of thought on all parts.

Was thinking about you and your big interview this morning -- knock their socks off!!!!!

Gotta love it it, eh? I have watched the tracking on packages and seen things arrive in Louisville, then travel to Indianapolis and THEN be dispatched to a smaller local hub back towards Louisville and FINALLY be sent out for delivery after having driven right past us at least twice running back and forth between Louisville, Indy and the local hub........

Thanks!!

Noted...

Yup... slipping and sliding trying to herd ducks...

Yes, they do... serious help...
I can't watch baseball on tv... but football is fun, when it's a good game... the last Super Bowl was a sad joke...

Sorry! I recommend heating pad, hot bath & ibuprofen.

Oh, what fun it is to have sneaky, backstabbing semi-relatives next door!!!

Just had a visit from the Dept of Agriculture on a complaint of dead bodies laying around... guy wasn't here more than 3 mins... said he didn't see a single issue anywhere...

They need a few of these:

!!!

I have Royal Purples from TJChickens in the bator right now... unfortunately only 5 are looking good, rough shipping... the box went through Memphis...

Excellent. I hope they tend to roost very close to the neighbor's bedroom window (once the guineas are old/loud enough)!!

The interview seemed to go well. They'll let me know, either way, early next week.

I bet my three bantam boys - Armand, the Colonel, and the Lieutenant could drown them all out!  :lau

Have you ever heard 50 Calls sounding off at once?? They do it when we put them up at night... :gig
