Both our houses are close to the dividing property line... they won't do that... she is trying to force us to get rid of everything... and he WAS my OH's best friend...

All our other neighbors LOVE our birds... and the eggs... and actually, I check quite frequently that they aren't disturbed, bothered or have any issues with them... it's just these ones... and they think they can do anything they want, like let their dogs run loose all over the county... but they don't like anyone else doing what they want... she is really the most crazy control freak ever...
No worries, hon... I know how busy is, lol...

I had neighbors a long time ago that were like that, too. We spoke on a regular basis but they filed a complaint with local government. That inspector told me the same yours did. They didn't know the law. My other neighbor loved the chickens. Now I don't have neighbors! Works much better.

Our behind-house neighbor, who bought what was the pool house for our house built in the '20s, complained because I parked my lawn tractor in my yard along the side of my garage and covered it with a motorcycle cover. He said the yellow wheels on the John Deere are distracting and can I please move it or put up a fence. Meanwhile, he has blue and silver tarps covering the wood pile behind HIS garage in plain view of all the windows on the south and east sides of our house.

I'm hanging in there, working in the mornings, moving furniture in the afternoons.
