Shaping up to be a decent day outside - it's not rained yet at least. It's primary day here in Indiana, waiting for DH to get moving so we can go get our votes cast -- still trying to figure out just what the lesser of all this year's evils might be.......can't recall a year I've felt this conflicted. Advantage of being state employees -- today is a "holiday" for us (well, it is for me this year - next year if I'm still at the BMV I'll have to work, gotta be available to issue IDs to avoid any issues with people's ability to vote -- there is an advantage to being the useless new person around the office for this year).
Think I've already got all my house chores for the day done -- not sure what I'll find to get into for the rest of the day.

HA...assuming I get both job offers, I'm leaning toward Huttig. Same money, smaller staff, better commute.

Also, an update on Di... The cat. Name change is gna b official soon, not only has he decided he likes pettings he's also discovered warm laps

It was during a freeze, I moved the dog nearer to them so she could have some heat lamp... She decided she wanted Right under that sucker and got on the cage to bake herself :/

D*ck shall be Richard I suppose I didn't ever plan on changing it but some He is Really changing...

Morning everyone!

I just dropped off 2 cockerels at the post office, and as I was arriving, an elementary school class was entering to learn about the postal service.  So they used me to explain that live animals can be sent through the mail!  The kids got the biggest kick out of hearing the sebright crow.  Over and over and over!  But all went well, so let's hope they make it safely.
