We are going to hatch out just three more weeks' worth of chicks then we will be stopping until mid June to let them rest and set and build up our own flock. We will hatch out three more batches (each Sunday) and will be putting approximately 15-20 eggs in hatcher each of the next three Thursdays, so the hatch days will be the 18th, the 25th, and the 2nd (of May).
These are all feathered leg chicks from the Bev Davis/Wade Jeane lines. Pictures show the parents, pics of our chicks, and the eggs they come from.
Chicks are $7 each and shipping is actual shipping plus $3-$5 for handling, chick starter, apples, and handwarmers that are added to each carton. Shipping is Express Mail and usually runs around $30.
When we start back in June we will then be adding a new line of chicks which will be the Channing Grisham line and their eggs so far have been the smallest and darkest eggs I have seen. They are gorgeous! So be sure and check back in June for this new line!
