Fresh out the box....here is my first day setup. In house for first couple days..With my dropcam to spy.

How adorable your little fuzzy-butts are! One thought...I'd put some chicken wire over the top of your brooder box...you will be AMAZED at how fast they learn "oh, I see clear sky above me...let's GO!!" ....

Is my chick normal? He likes to pick at his fuzz and he rolls all over me and only sleeps when I hold it. Does it think I'm the mother?@iwiw60

Gosh I'm no expert, but could be!! You might start "weaning" him a little more each day so that he isn't so dependent maybe??

Might be better to start your own thread so as not to hi-jack this thread from the original poster. When you do so, you might want to include some additional information such as whether this is a single chick being raised alone,etc.
