Thank you for the information. I checked out the other thread and I'm not convinced that it's the food. I have about 35 chickens and gather about 20 to 24 eggs a day and the "mushy" boiled eggs only happens once in awhile. The oldest layers I have are only a year and a half old. Hmmm, still a mystery...???
I use eggs that are about 1 or 2 weeks old to hard boil. Sometimes that helps and makes them easier to peel. I've also had more problems with blue/green/olive/etc. eggs, so I try only to do white and brown ones.
