Freshly laid eggs going bad after only three days

Hi I have pekin ducks and am finding that the eggs that are laid daily are going rotten after 3 to 4 days. Does anyone know the reason for this I am collecting them daily and keeping them in a cool room but they are not lasting. Please help!!

Can you explain a little more clearly what specifically is happening that is causing you to label them as "rotten"?
Is it odor, color, appearance, taste… or something else?
