i got one(friction burn) started yesterday from work. but it's not in the underpants area.. it's up above and let me tell you... it's not any fun when it starts to heat up at work cuz sweat BURNS! me oh my i cannot wait till tomorrow night.. cuz it's when im done with work for the week lol

Maple, always used plain ole cornstarch from my kitchen on my kids. However, nowdays am using Calmoseptine Ointment on DGD at pediatrician's suggestion. It was developed for, and is used on, elderly patients bedsores. Get it at our local Walgreens. Hope your DD is feeling better really soon.

I'm going to vote for Balmex too! That stuff is like magic. It got rid of some monster diaper rashes in my girls very quickly.

Sometimes yeast can bloom there as well...if it persists have her checked for yeast.
