Well, at first I thought maybe the friend was just stupid.

Now after I read that she took her dog to the pound to die I am sure the friend is just a true LOSER.

I sure hope you get the dog in time. If you can't keep her just rehome her for a fee of whatever you have to pay the pound. I've had good luck with petfinder or even here on BYC you might find someone to take her.

I, I can't even imagine how a person so heartless exists

. Where did she get the yorkie? If it were a breeder I'd tell her what that #%!! did with her lab. A good breeder would have a fit that someone like her got one of their pups. I would also not be friends with her anymore

as she is lower than slug slime (well actually slug slime has a use as a super lubricant, this gal has no use whatsoever.) Before you cut off your friendship tell her she owes you the fee for picking up her dog she threw away like a piece of garbage.

She took the dog to the pound? This makes me so furious I can't even say.

Large dogs have so much trouble finding homes at shelters, depending on the shelter this easily could have been a death sentence.

Please tell me you managed to rescue the poor dog, and dumped your friend off at the pound. She deserves it after her behavior towards her dog. Dogs love and trust people, anyone who betrays them automatically gets on my bad list.

I have too many dogs, but since I lost one last week (I had to put her down, I didn't want to) I have room in my heart and can make room in my home if needed for Tink. Labs are not my favored breed, but, she's a living breathing, feeling being ARRGH! I HATE people!
Please tell us that you got her and she's ok, poor Tink! What she must be going through - abandoned like that in a scary place.
