FRIENDLIEST BREED HELP PLEASE???

so if i got a few silkies i actually would like to allow my kids to experiance some babies from them going broody..
now my next dumb question.. do i need a silkie roo to get the job done or no or i already have a brown leghorn roo is this possibl im sure i sound like a dumb dumb but this is all a new learning experiance for me & id never wanna do something that could harm any of the chickens.

A leghorn roo might be a bit aggressive with a silkie hen, however, they certainly could mate and produce chicks. My suggestion would be to keep any bantams separate and get maybe a trio of silkies (two females and a male) in their own coop/run.
