Friendliest chicken breed

hi everyone I am wondering what the friendliest chicken breed is and am interested in your opinions

Idk, but I'm really loving how mellow my Lavender Orpington roo is

All breeds can vary, as well as gender.

My silkies are very friendly!! The roo is a little feisty though. Remember, roosters are roosters, they can be friendly but all breeds get hormones, and protective over the hens. I'm not saying don't get roosters, because we have lots of roosters. Just keep it in mind if you're looking for friendliness is all.

My spitzhaubens are also very friendly, along with our buff orpingtons, barred rocks, silver laced wyandottes, svart honas, and our ameraucanas. Our black sex links are as well, and are great egg layers. So our our ISA browns. Porcelain d'uccles and cochin bantams are also super friendly!

Ok, I guess all of our chickens are friendly None of them are mean to us, but they can scrap with each other. You can read my signature at the bottom of my posts to see all of the friendly chickens we have!! Lol

The friendliest chickens I've ever had are Easter Eggers and Speckled Sussex. Hope this helps!

Personally, I think Black Sex Link hens are the best! Very friendly and mine used to come flying up at me and sit on my shoulders and head when I came out to let them out of their coop. Bought four little pullets from an FFA group, best hens ever!

I have the breeder's Australorps, and I am happy with them. Even my rooster is a nice one. I'm not trying to handle any of mine too much, but I sit out there with them and they like me to talk to them.

Australorps are the breed i plan to get once I move to Alaska to start a homestead, its good to know they're a docile breed.

I was planning on getting black australorps, mainly because of their size and their dual-purpose. I don't eat meat personally, but if I wind up with a partner who does I would feel better about knowing where my family's food came from than buying meat chock full or hormones and raised cruelly. I've read they are good cold-weather birds.
