friendliest turkeys??

There is no appreciable difference in temperament between the breeds. Broad Breasted Bronze or White may be slightly more mellow, if only because they are too heavy to do much excessive movement, but they are unsuitable to be kept as "pets" by those with highly emotional personalities who do not understand that these birds have been bred as a terminal cross, with no intention of them living a natural life past several months. Remember that there is a huge difference between how a bird relates to a human and how it behaves around other birds. Real life is not a Disney movie where all of the animals talk and get along. Keep in mind that poultry have not been domesticated as a pet species. As such, you may be in for a big disappointment if your expectations are that they will behave like your household dog or cat. Treating poultry against their nature, like pampered pets is one of the leading ways in which a dominant bird can become aggressive, after losing all healthy respect for humans. It's often incorrectly determined to be "mean" by people who choose to anthropomorphize animals rather than try to understand their natural behavior. Turkeys can be kept with chickens if the conditions are appropriate, but cooping them up together in a small house is likely to cause problems in which the turkey is unfairly determined to be "mean" towards the chickens. As dog trainers like to say, the problem is often at the other end of the leash. With poultry behavioral issues, the problem is often on the outside of the coop.

Royal palm- they are too sweet and follow you around, then crouch to be petted. I have yearlings, though they may change..

If they are crouching for petting, they really want more than petting. when we pet ours, we refer to it as "servicing"

, then they get up and shake it off.
