Friendly or Not?

I have three chickens and I recently went out of town. One of my chickens doesn't like being touched but the other two were OK with it. I came back and they all seemed a little freaked out and anxious or something. I left again for another trip and when I came back they were even worse. Were they scared by an animal or something? Were they mistreated? Were they just unused to being touched after I was away for a while?

Chickens don't like change...and are creatures of habit.
If you start spending more time with them you can re-acclimate them to being touched.
How old are these birds?

Or get a dog, they are always glad when you come back.

One time we had a neighbors son take care of them and another time we had a college student.
