Friendly pullets—hatched week of March 4 (approximately 11 weeks old). We raised these chicks in our home and porch, so they are used to the sounds of people, street traffic, and dogs. They would be the perfect group to start your first flock, or great additions to an existing one! They should start laying by the end of summer!
All three breeds are good brown egg layers, with an expected laying rate of about 250 eggs a year. Adult birds will weigh between about 4-6 pounds.
