Charger gasped for breath again, trying not to pass out from blood loss. "Fang can't know... about this."

Rain waited for Timber before she skidded down the slope.

Charger was enraged, but it just intensified her pain. "I thought you were different." she said. "I thought you would at least keep this from Fang." Charger finally gave in to her pain and sat.

Timber ran to the Blood pack border, his nose working hard to detect anything out of place.

Coby nodded and laid on his back.

Charger looked at the ground, where her blood had reddened the snow. "If he knows I am weak, he will kill me." she whispered.

Charger shut her eyes tightly. She had never felt this desperate in her life. I can make it... somehow.
