Phoenix noticed the movement of the new arrival. But she didn't acknowledge the new wolf. She couldn't understand it, why were all these wolves in the woods? It had been so quiet, she had gone a long time between seeing another wolf. She'd spent most of her life alone, until her pups. Now the woods were thick with Wolves, something was brewing, something very bad. She could taste it on the air, like an impending thunderstorm. A reclusive loner, who was now surrounded by wolves, she didn't know.
