Let Stringbean drive you there. Be safe.

And I think Sibone can do whatever she feels like when she laughs.

It's not my trouble... my husband's unit had injuries yesterday.
Every time this happens, I can't sleep for weeks.

Oh honey

When the war started i didn't sleep for a bit....

I fell today. It was not a pleasant experience. I'm wearing these newfangled "shape up" shoes with the curved sole, so I'm sure that didn't help. Why would someone as clumzy as me buy shoes with a rounded sole, I'll never know, but I did, and this is the price I pay.

Anyhoo, I hit this patch of refreeze, and down I do. It was like slow motion, but there was nothing I could do. I landed with my left leg at a wonky angle underneath me, and my right leg straing out. Somehow during this process I twisted my ankle. I had to sit there, in the middle of the parking lot, and collect myself before I could get up. The pain was almost instinatnious. Someone in leaving stopped their car and asked if I was ok. I said yes, but I still sat there for another few minutes. Then I got up and hobbled to class. Muddy, wet, and sore.

Yes, I'm sure the man in the car laughed heartily before he pulled up and asked me if I was ok. Heck, I would have laughed if I didn't have to spend so much time figuring out how my leg got into that postion without breaking. I mean, I didn't think human limbs were meant to be in that postition.

I'm considering trying out for the summer olympics. I didn't know I was that flexible!

You won't be tomorrow. You'll be in traction.

By the way Bants, I still have that almond thing receipe you sent me. But around here, almond paste is horribly expensive.
I'll have to wait until I find some at a lesser price.

It's pretty steep at the grocery stores around here, but I can get it at the Dutchman's store (a little Amish store) fairly cheap, and better quality, too.
