just had this pop up on aol when i had to log back in after my puter froze.... AGAIN!
and boo... heck yeah it can get uncomfortably warm over here in the iowa/illinois farm belt.... once it hits the 90-100* mark and add on to that the seething humidity.... that's cause for guys to stop working on rooftops.... and kids to hit all places that have water play (one of the library's has shooting fountains they turn on for the inner city kids to run through) but we on the outskirts hit the man made lakes or find a creek in the middle of the forest preserve to wade through. and all the old people go sit at the mall or other areas open for heat waves and air cooling.

Oh yes. Heat and humidity makes the corn grow tall. Mid to late August will see 100*+.
