They came from peachick, who got her stock from Pips&Peeps, so I know they come from good stock. They're the only 2 that hatched from a dozen I'd bought. I was so glad they turned out to be a pair! She just started laying. I've seen a bullseye on her eggs, but I need to get the Blue Orp cockrels out of the pen before I try to hatch any.

Yay! A Claribelle wannabe!

A couple of my EEs started out looking like the chipmunk babies. They have grown into lovely big girls.
Can you seperate Black Bart into a different pen so your wellie roo has a chance? Welsummers are awesome! Lauralou and I are trading some of her wellies for my ameraucanas (and perhaps a stray silkie

). I can't wait. I have two hatchery wellies right now and I just love their eggs. They are so pretty!

We need pics of the keepers for sure.

Boyd- I've been off for a while. How is the house hunting coming along? Did you get that farm?

Black Bart and the only Blue Rock pullet are up for sale on CL. I was hoping by offering a girl with him would make him more valuable.

Perty birdies!!!! You've seen my roo right?

Yep, I've seen him - he's beautiful!

My guy is a jerk - he never challenges me or Matthew, but whenever Ella goes down with me, he lights into her. But he's too valuable to eat, so I just keep her close to me when she goes down with me.
