EEp! i'm hatching seramas in 2 days, 5 are moving alot.

I hope I didn't scare you.... maybe those Seramas were having a bad Day....

Or maybe they just dont like almost-6-foot-high humans grabbing thier freshly-laid eggs. PARTICULARLY if that human has had to hang out with two of the most infantile, immature boys in the universe for an hour and a half.

Want some warm tea? I find it calms my nerves after people have been on them all day.

Why am I awake at 4 AM you ask? Not because I am at work, no... I'm on call, actuallly, and was sleeping quite well. So I must've got called, right? Well... No. But I did wake up to my chest being on FIRE!!! Prettty sure this is punishment for cheating my diet

And can someone please tell me why that rooster is crowing at 4 o'freaking clock in the morning? IT'S PITCH DARK OUTSIDE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!

Mom tells me that I'll be sad when the rooster goes because it won't be the same without the crowing. Oh yea? YOU want him then?

Good morning.
ha ha, the roosters across the street crow in the pitch black all the time. I've heard them crow at 3 am. They've been crowing like crazy for the past hour, but it will be light in about 1/2 from now.

And who posted that rodenator link on here? Was it you P-nut? Anyway showed it to my DH, he told the neighbor, and the neighbor was having a huge blast all day yesterday!!

I think one of my two new chickies is a rooster. Their tails are so different from one another. I think they are about 2 weeks old now. I think they may be banties. So, if one is a roo, and I keep it cuz it doesn't turn aggressive, (grandchildren here ya know), it could breed with my silkies that like to be broody and then ...........................

Oh, and they had polish chickies at the feed store. First time I noticed they had those. And DH thought they were cute, and well, ummmm
hey I was strong, I held back, but it was difficult, and probably the only reason I didn't come home with some was cuz I didn't have any more money with me, I was getting pony food.
I really need to make my chicken pen bigger. Ya, mine is a pen, not a coop. Or, just make a whole new one, so I can have two pens.
What do ya all think? I think I know your answer!

I think polish are funny. We gave ours away last year? was it, to the beef farmer we met at the pizza place. His name was pp after pp.

short for that silly girl we know.. perfectly polish.

He would try to coral my girls like they were one of his flock. It was sooo funny but my girls were a little intimidated by his advances... you know the spread wing and the chicken dance? They kept thinking he was gonna get them. silly rooster...those are human girls...not chicken ladies....

boo's gonna get more chickens....boo's gonna get more chickens....

My brothers guitar teacher has a new Chevy Camaro! And his wife took me for a ride! It was AWESOME! It can go from 0 to 60mph in 3seconds! It was like riding on air!

My Seramas are mean little snots. The rooster is a whopping 8" high and he attacks me every single time I open the cage (no matter how many rooster manners I've attempted to teach him.) The hens are super flighty and scared to death of me. They are absolutely nuts and will go crazy if I try to handle them. I've incubated every single egg they've ever laid and I've managed to hatch out one chick so far.

Why do I bother with them? I keep them because I like how tiny and cute they are. They're good quality and I worked so hard to get them, so I can't give up on them even though they're a pain. They don't eat much, so they don't cost much to keep.
