hello long lost ones,
There are 26 new chicks in a baby pool warming under the heat lamp tonight. Buff orps, welsummers, and buckeyes. I lost my best wheaten marans hen last night-- am unsure what happened to her but she quit walking so I isolated her. She would drink and eat, but her legs were oddly unmobile and hung oddly behind her. I wonder if she had a spine injury. So I'm down to something like 27 adult chickens, 11 ducks, and so I had to get chicks. We've been planting trees and berry bushes, prepping the garden and have forgone the early crops like cabbage/potatoes in order to save the room for items more palettable to the boys. DS#1 qualified for state track this week. Life is good.

Well, I'm back from riding with my friend, I rode her little arabian mare. She was only 14.3hh. She was sooo cute! But she was kinda old (21) But she moved like a 5yr old!

She had the best trot I've ever ridden!

I'm sore now....

So this is slightly odd.... my friend has upgraded my computer and so far I am mad because I am having trouble with everything... like, I couldn't remember my byc name and then so I had them send it to my email but then I couldn't find my email....

I called him to complain and he said that's the last time he's helping me.

I want all my favorites back!!!

and this tiny print is making me battty! how do i make it bigger?

dang it... dratted computers!


it's faster though and it has usb... so that's a bonus.

ok.... i'll admit, i have no pateince when it comes to this crud. I'm mad.... this is stupid. I blame my friend for not following up. ha ha ha... fine he said he'd be back tomorrow to finish because it took all danged day to upload.... but still.... i want my pudding and i want my meat! ...meat and pudding...pudding and meat...pudding pudding pudding!!!!!

That reminds me of going out to lunch with my ma today and she says in a happy tone, "I'm getting liver and onions." and she's all smiles.... and I say, "you say that like it's a good thing." we got a giggle out of that.
