Poor thing!

Sounds like she has a postive attitude. That's half the battle.

Nutty, I lived in the hospital for weeks when I was having Erik. You want to be a good friend, call her. If you've not done it, you won't understand but hours of empty minutes with nothing to do but count the holes in the celing tiles and worry slowly drives you mad. Even better if she's local enough to visit for an afternoon (tip, bring a laptop and a DVD, so if it gets akward you can say "I brought us a movie to watch"). Does she like to read, or is that a book you love? bring her a copy (auntie saddi suggests The Scarlette Pimpernil a mystery). often people don't know what to say, so they stay away, it's exactly the wrong thing to do.

Phones still work.

My phone doesn't work
hmm.png

I was talking on it last night during the storm and it kept dropping the calls. So I turned it off... And when I turned it back on this morning, it didn't work.

So I have been home all day and haven't heard another human voice in nearly 24 hours. I'm trying to decide if this is a good thing or a bad thing.
