I'm not going to lie, this sweet cinnamon bread is BY FAR the best bread I have ever made. It's kind of got a sour dough twinge to it, because I used sourdough starter in stead of yeast. It's slightly sweet, but not too sweet. The cinnamon hints at a breakfast roll, but doesn't overpower the actual taste of the bread. Being the miserable bread maker I am, I'm very proud that this bread rose appropriately. In fact, it rose TOO much. (insert smiley dancing the happy dance here, this shall do:

) I left to go to a resturaunt and when I came back a couple of hours later, it had rose over the bowl (Which was 5 times it's size!) and hit the top of my oven! There was a towel between the bread and oven, so there weren't any crusties in it.
One day I said, I can't make bread. When I realized what I said, I decided that I would keep trying until I could say that I am successful at making bread. This is my first entirely solo bread making adventure, so I consider it a kind of successful. Once I can complete the wheat roll recipe that defeated me initially, I will be almost successful. Then I shall find a recipe more difficult, and once it is mastered, I shall consider myself accomplished in the task I could once never do.
Insight to the crazy gal that is MaggieRae!
You do that a lot. 2 smileys is great conversation, P-nut. Yes I know sarcasm is the lowest form of humor available to us, but it is humor after all.
