Friends Welcome

I've been working on cleaning my house! Still need to get a mop, I know I could just use a towel.
Need to work on getting this desk area in order, its a mess. Its hard sharing a desk with some one, cuz its gets twice the mess that way!

Oh, and I'm pretty sure one of the two chickies I got nearly 2 months ago is a roo. I've been suspecting it is for awhile now. Thats sad cuz those two are such buddies, the only two in that age group. But I have grandchildren, so I do not want a roo running around my yard, unless of course, it doesn't start attacking. Its so pretty.

Not all roos are aggressive. My aggressive ones go to freezer camp. BUT, the ones I
ve raised and played with since they hatched are wonderful. I can walk out there any time and pick Merrie up and he'll just snuggle in my arm. Kitty was the same way. Ghost and Fuzzy tolerate me but aren't lovey, it's ok, as long as they don't bite or scratch.

I've only had two roos, both which I raised inside, but turned out aggressive later on. These two I have not messed with since they went outside. They even stopped putting themselves away in the coop, and are sleeping in the stall rafters like Tree Chick does when she is not brooding on unfertilized eggs. These two chickies are some chickies from chickens that just free roam around the area here. This area has tons of chickens that just run around, probably don't really belong to anyone, just chickens have always roamed the area. So, we'll see.

A few years ago, when they first put Burger King out here, whenever you'd go through the drive through, you'd have to wait for chicken crossing. You'd often see chickens in the parking lots at the stores around here. But with the overpass now put in, and so much traffic, I haven't seen a chicken at Burger King in a long time. They've moved to the hills across the street no doubt. I used to want to catch those chickens and bring them home. But they always roost very high up in the oak trees.

My youngest sister is moving again today. Poor girl. This is the one that a couple years ago, during the summer I made several trip 6 hours north getting her stuff. She gave me her horse trailer. I have her couches, washer and dryer went to middle son. They never did get another place, just living in 5th wheel at fairgrounds. Now her dh is going to nevada for work, she doesn't know how long, but she is staying here, in a smaller camper that will be closer to her work here. She has 4 horses too, so she can't just up and go. She has been so unsettled since they lost their house up north two, maybe 3 years ago now.

How have you been? And what time is it there right now?

I'm on dial-up and it is very slow, and I get disconnected a lot, so sometimes I am slow at responding, or I just miss a lot.

It's 16:55 here, I'm doing well!
I can't wait for the adventure camp!

Is that brisket done yet? That's my favorite ya know! And I thinking of hopping on my pony and heading your way.

I don't have a pony... will a broomstick work?

Well, you could ride your broomstick here, then we'll get one of my sisters horses, and we can gallop together. Hey, and we can let her baby horses follow, cuz that'd be cute!
