I'd also like to add idiot ATV riders to my list of pet peeves. The lower 4 acres of our property are not easily seen from the house and I hear a lot of ATVs running around back there. Why do they think they can ride their destructive toys all over other people's property?

ETA: We've posted multiple No Trespassing signs when we first moved here, but after the idiot ATV drivers tore them down multiple times, we quit putting them up.

Well, this was yesterday morning. We had a total of about 15 inches of snow. The wind is calm and it's about 8*. Haven't started tilling the garden yet. Probably ought to blow the snow off it first.

In other news: today on this thread I've ranted about the neighbors dogs pooping in my yard and trespassing ATV drivers. I've also promised to take Buff on a tour of the local libraries when she visits me.

Today I caught my Ameraucana pullet eating an egg. I noticed the pullets in the pen were very interested in the eggs in the broody's nest. I also noticed the eggs had slowly been disappearing. Today as soon as the broody got off the nest to eat, the Ameraucana and another bird went right to the nest and started attacking the last egg. By the time I got there, they'd already eaten it. It was definately developing - I saw veining in what remained of the shell. So I'm angry and frustrated. If I keep the Ameraucana, I'm probably going to have to rig up a roll-out nest. For now, I'm cleaning out a dog crate to put the broody in. I can give her some eggs out of the incubator to hatch.

I like that Milkawhat commercial. I was disappointed that they're going to withdrawl it because Lindsay Lohan is narcissistic and insecure.
