Gosh, I freaking hate iTunes. I bought a bunch of music on my last laptop, but recently got this new one last Christmas. May I add, great for essay writing. I love it.
What I don't love, is iTunes. Back to point. I transfer this music to my new computer via their new (at the time) software called home sharing or something of the like. Everyone made a huge hubub about it but now it seems to have disappeared (I wonder why.
Ignore the smile at the bottom. I'm not smiling. Just see the rolling of eyes that indicates sarcasm.). I transfer all 1000+ songs and while I lost all my album artwork, play lists, and play counts, I'm happy. Some sacrifices are expected to be made and this whole process was relatively painless. No problems... Until now.
Now, iTunes doesn't think I should be allowed to listen to music that I've bought and paid for. iTunes thinks I need to be authorized to play my own music, although, according to
iTunes, I am indeed authorized to play my own music.
I'll quit now. I can play my music, but only after having written a new program so that I can do so, since iTunes has corrupted my computer's ability to play it via QuickTime or whatever it is.
Incredibly frustrating. I need not mention that this rant is slightly altered to be appropriate for a family forum and that mistakes will most likely arise while you're reading it. Just ignore them, please.
