Friends Welcome

I went to lunch with a friend and made a chocolate cheesecake to avoid thinking about iTunes. So yes, but I'm very glad it's working for you.

(Maybe there's hope for me, yet!)

That cheesecake should cook faster.

Gosh I'm hungry

I'm making this: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Chocolate-Cheesecake/Detail.aspx

and
would like to put this on top: http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2008/06/how-tomake-chocolate-curls/

But
I dunno yet. That would be another dish to clean...

Hey Boyd. How's everything going with the Boyd family?

I drove the red jeep home from volunteering and dinner blasting Kid Rock. Life is good. Now I just need a tire cover to say that.

OMG. I am tired!
I gave my TWH a make-over.

I cut his mane short. And I docked his tail. It's now 2" below his hock.
I polished his hooves, he looks like he's ready for the show ring.
And his coat is sleek and shiny. But 2 minuets after I turn him out....He goes and rolls.

Sassy, where are those pics?
I want to see how you cut the tail!

Yesterday was my last day of the summer session. Now I have a week off.

Wonder if we'll get any sun today, we are suppose to get to 70* today, I really hope so.

I know I am lucky that I am not cooking in 90 and 100* weather, but sometimes, just for a moment or two, I wish we could have real summer weather. Ya know, the kind that you can swim and sit in the shade under a tree with lemonade, and not be turning purple!!

Yesterday it did, the sun came out, for a bit, and it was almost 70*!

Awww, the baby quail are taking dirt bath in my front yard, and the parent quail are standing watch.

Its so cool watching all the quail. They often walk the top of my fence and watch below and then call them when it is safe to move to the next hiding spot. Some of them have 12-14 babies!

Boo, here are the pictures of my horse's tail, he was resting, so he's kinda lopsided.
Before I cut it, it was REALLY long and draging the ground. And his tail is also really thick.
