Cute horse, Sassy. I'm loving the tail.

I shadowed my equine vet today (11 hours of 105* heat!

). It was grand fun. Some lady stole her horse from her separated husband. It was a good day.

Hello long lost thread... I've been in the garden, the chicken yard, the county fair, the 4-H hall, the camper, at the lake, and briefly at work. I'm finally checking in on you.
Proud to report that my 4-Hers brought home 3 trophies, and blue ribbons on every chicken except our meaties. Evidently the rest of the world feeds their Cornish Rocks bowling balls, and we only fed chicken feed. But, our Welsummers did extremely well and both boys placed 1st for showmanship in their classes. (Pride swelling...)
Missed you all, briefly catch up with those on FB, but wanted to say hello.
