Friends Welcome

Oh my gosh, that is a horrible bite. And right in the corner of the mouth where the bit goes. Poor Dakota.
I'm glad he is doing better now though. Will you be able to ride him soon, can you ride him with a bitless bridle or hackamore or something like those?

I have not ridden my pony for about 3 weeks. I should get unlazy and ride him today. I almost did yesterday.
Yesterday I had to get up at 5am on my day off and take my youngest son somewhere. I wanted to sleep till 8 or 9 am.
Then I had shopping and laundry to do.
And the milk I bought I had to return cuz we didn't notice that the seal wasn't sealed right and it smelled funky, could of been my imagination, but hey, the seal was not put on right.
Today I pick my son up. But later in the afternoon, so maybe I can ride for a bit.

I've been riding him in a hackamore. He's the type of character to get rusty with lack of riding.

You should ride! It's fun. I hope you got a chance to this afternoon.

Ugh, Sometimes I really hate my hair, I have thick, wavy hair. Yesterday I was so mad with it, I got my mom to thin it out. I was so happy!! My ponytail is so tiny now.

And it's so easy to straighten!! And yes Maggie, it's Tuesday.

Well, I went to the pound today and got me a beautiful something. She seems to be a few months old and is between being red and chocolate colored. I suspected she has a lot of Lab in her and she confirmed it as soon as I got her home. I put out a big galvanized tub for her to drink out of and she got in it immediately. The dog pound lady had already named her Reba. I think Reba will stay as a name.
