Absolutely Gawr-geous, mi amiga. Stunning. Today I walked out to my car to make the morning commute and was quite surprised. Was that a little nip I felt in the air? When I put my hands on the wheel, I was even more amazed to find that I still had them and the skin hadn't been blistered off by the heat. Yes, my friends. This morning was chilly. YEEEHAW! (Now where's a kicking my spurs together smiley?) This will do:

Fog is back.
Those two days of heat spoiled me. I am cold now. Well, I just finished a bowl of ice cream so that doesn't help.
I like warm evenings. When the sun goes down, and it is still warm, it was 70* until 8pm. That is nice weather.
It was 55* when I left for work this morning.

How chilly is that in Texas this morning?

Oh and a deer ran out in front of me on my break this morning, that was at 10:30am, usually I see them in evenings or early morning, not middle morning. I had to slam on my brakes.

Uh... well... I think it was 75...

When you come home around 5:45 to 110* weather, you bet that's chilly!
Sorry about that deer. I don't like them... Up in Illinois, they're all over the place. It's rare you see road-kill that isn't deer. On our way to church one morning, we saw 6 dead deer on the side of the road. I do love Texas! A crash with a armadillo is nothing compared to a crash with a deer. And they always ate my mama's flowers. They don't eat my flowers... Hehehehee...

I guess so. I usually see them belly up on the road.

Gosh, I'm frustrated. A friend informed that she'd like to do something for lunch so I go to pick her up. I wait for half an hour and call her three times to no avail. She seems to have off and disappeared after confirming my picking her up not an hour before! So there goes half my lunch break. I'm starving. *Sigh* We must have gotten our wires crossed or something, but still...

Good morning.

Did you ever figure out what happened to your friend?

It was 'Back to School Night' last night. My boss came and we set up free samples.
I also got to get up on the stage with all the teachers and be introduced to all the parents.
It was fun.

After everyone left, I set up the breakfast wagons so when my coworkers come in this morning, it'll be all done and they will be surprised!

Whhoooaaaa. I'm back from a 4 hour cattle drive. Non-stop. I had fun, and I found out my horse is scared to death of cows. I saw one little cow wondering off, so I run over there to get it. My horse turns side ways and I go off the other way. Then I get back on and I never went near a cow again. My hands are so sore, but it was fun.

Cattle drives are awesome, aren't they? Sorry you fell off. Ranger was scared of cows, too, the first time he went near one.

Boo, sounds like fun!!! No, I never found out what happened but I did see her today. She just told me she was sorry, but I didn't ask what happened.

To this day I will get out of my truck and put a Lone Star bottle in its paws out of respect when I see a dead un. I've been on the wagon for a little while now. I guess I ought to clean that pickup bed out, huh?
