It stormed all night Sunday. It's okay, storm. I hadn't been planning on sleeping anyway.
The doors are off the arena as we get ready for the boot scootin ball, so I allowed Dakota a little exercise outside on a longer lead line. Thank goodness I had the brains not to get on the back of that crazy beast! If I had, I'm sure I'd be passing Sassy right around now. He was bucking and sprinting and the ground was so soft, he looked like he was surfing, sliding around like that! I stopped him and took him back to his pasture, but I feel bad the ground got tore up so terribly...

It's the start of our dry season. It'll be dry till about November then it'll snow. Then dry. Then some snow. Then repeat. We might get some freezing rain but not much. First thunderstorms are in April.
