Be nice to your mother. She birthed you.

Can you come to my house and remind my daughter of that? She forgets it was my choice
lol.png

Careful with that, my mother once pointed out how "greatful" I should be to her for "giving me life"... I pointed out I was born 2 years after roe vs. wade, and she made a choice she now had to raise it. Now to fair she's a prefectly miserable person, who enjoys making other people miserable.

Like I said, we must be sisters...

I don't say that to my daughter, she's been told how happy I was when she was healthy (after a small scare when she was born) and that I was grateful... blah blah blah (guilt trip!) LOL

Rehash:

I make lasagna with sour cream instead. It's mmm mmm good. I also make pound cake with sour cream instead of oil/butter/shortening. Yum.

We always grill our porkchops on the Foreman Grill, quick, easy, lower-fat. We usually marinate them first, or at the very least add some creole seasoning.

Saddina-I agree with other advice given. Yes, your son should know that honest opinions are ok, but he should also know that it's not always ok to express those opinions to other people. Rudeness is never allowed, particularly under the guise of "honesty". I know several adults that never learned that lesson, and use the honesty excuse to hurt and demean others.

Anyone else been working out? I'm up to fifteen miles per week (jog twelve, walk three). Just started Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. After that, I'm going to tackle ChaLean Extreme or something similar (not purchased yet), and after that dh and I are going after P90X (we just bought this, I want to get in a little better shape before I do it). Also TRY to do yoga or pilates twice a week, and go to a Zumba class at least once per week.

Boyd is a cocoa bean - bitter until cooked then sweet and comforting.

I'm afraid to say, but this is totally true

Howdy y'all! I've got 70+ eggs in the fridge, so somtime tonight, I'm off to see the neighbors.

The problem with some of the city folk though, is that they don't eat fertile eggs. I try to explain there's no possible way these eggs EVER would hatch (unless man stood in and incubated...

but I don't need to mention that) and the darn chickens would eat the eggs themselves (and enjoy every last bite of it too!) if I didn't take them, but they don't believe me. Oh well. Whatcha going to do?
