Friends Welcome

ATTENTION IN THE FORUMS, ATTENTION IN THE FORUMS

I just got a call from g, gretch, gretchen, maplesky7. She is having computer problems and she might not be on for a week or two. She didn't want anyone freaking out because they don't see her. She is doing OK and I could hear kids in the background.

That is all.

I am having a hard time concentrating today. My chicks are hatching and the have been pipped since about 3 pm yesterday. I will not be home when the 24 hour point happens and I have no idea if any of them need help out. Only two have hatched.

That's okay, I'm there with them - Mike Rowe is here too and we are enjoying watching them. Worry not.

I do worry because it has been too long. They should have come out by now. I have on cochin and one silkie.

Even I won't eat that and I eat flavored tofu.

Which reminds me I need the banana tofu smoothie (whatever it is you make) recipe for a friend.

Saddi's banana tofu smoothie:

1 block (5 oz) of banana flovored tofu
OR
3 Oz of tofu & half a banana (I buy the bananas that are slightly mushy, like you'd get for banana bread, and freeze them in 1/2 for smoothies)
6 0z frozen fruit (I'm a sucker for raspberries)
tsp of honey if using unflavored tofu
8 oz of soy milk or juice

Chuck it in a blender in that order, put the machine on ice crush and let it go. It it's too thick add a lil more soy milk, too thin, add more banana.

Humidity was 54% last night and I couldn't see it this morning because the two that did hatch were on it.
