ok... where's that kel at?
mornin "ancient ones"....
me and the girls and grandma and another mom and 2 little girls just got back from our tour this morning at Hoo Haven---wild life rehab.
we saw lots of owls--big ones and lil ones (and i don't mean babies...i just mean very small)-----hawks, kestrels, bald eagles, turkey vultures, lots and lots of foxes (who were going to be made into someones coat apparently but were saved), swan, geese, deer, a pushy goat, some rabbits, some oppossums, snakes, turtles, oh and otter and a pelican--who will be released this month---well, April....among some other things... like dead stuff... ha ha ha...mmmm nothing like carrion to tempt you in the morning! nom nom nom!
I am in LOOOOVE.... I want to volunteer and hang out there. They even have a crow they hand raised and it stays around and flies up to the picnic area and yells at ya. The lady said "he's meaner than snot." I like her. She's my kind of lady.
and who would have thought that foxes smell like skunks? shweeeyoooo they are stinky... we got to go in their cage... an arctic fox in there too. strange what one may find in IL./WI/Iowa... either migratory or someone had as a pet... dorks.
At least they get to live out their end years in a wild life rehab place.... what a great adventure.
Going back in May when they said they'll have a lot of babies....from road kills or what ever.
babies!!! That will be neat but sad too... they lost their mommies...
ok.... all better.... gotta run to more of those fun fun fun apt.'s I have today.
