Pouring a cocktail after a long frustrating day. The kids have decided to not clean up at all while i've been in bed this last week... the playroom was a wreck, and they're scrubbing with toothbrushes.

it's a spring thing. The world is waking back up, suddenly the grass seems greener elsewhere. Add in the school calendar where t's almost the end, and if you don't think a realtioship will last the summer, you've a month to find a new one.

Look around and see if it's going on. Most people don't say "bob if I don't dump you now, i'm stuck with you all summer" but rather the idea of spending summer stuck with bob is less appealing.

Then again I juggled dating 4 sets of boys each summer, most girls just don't think to multitask.

But if you don't want to be with bob why date him in the first place?

Sometimes bob asks you out, and bob is cute and seems nice. Then you find out bob is lazy with the toothbrush, rude to his mother, and a jerk to his brother (stuff you don't see at school with bob, but notice when you go to his house). A summer of listening to bob, who's still nice to you, but other wise an annoying jerk to his family is unappealing.

I see.

Auntie Saddi is what used to be called "popular" but I hear now it's called by far less nice names. My parents didn't think I should only date one boy (going steady) as that would lead to a single male having more influence than they felt healthy (as in being able to pressure me into unladylike situations). So I would go on dates with several boys, I was honest, they knew I was seeing other people. Usually a boy from church, a boy from school, a boy from band, and a guy from kick boxing. I really think it was far healthier than girls and guys who date one person at a time and feel they must change themselves into what someone else expects. When a relationship ended it wasn't a crushing blow of crying and ice cream binging, we simply didn't gel, and that was ok.

Does that make more sense dear.
