Snow, ice, all that nasty nonsense. The schools are shut down today and tomorrow, as are all the offices. Sucks since the super bowl festivities were supposed to start today, but oh well. I went to the Mavericks game last night and whenever they wanted the crowd to boo they'd put a woman in her Pittsburgh outfit on the screen, and whenever they wanted someone to cheer, they'd put the man in his Green bay outfit on the big screen.

Had to go to the office to re-boot phones and turn on the server after the power outage that lasted all night. Talk about a cold house this morning! Brrrr!
Roads are horrible. Some ^#*!)% (and we'll just leave it at that) driver was following way too close. 5, maybe 6, feet behind me on 1 to 2 inches of ice everywhere! Oh, I wasn't pleased. I was in my new jeep, too. I'm sorry, driver, but if you feel the urge to follow way too closely in this weather, I will feel the urge to protect my nice car the best I can. Especially if that means going 5 to 10 mph.

I let him pass me and I'll be darned if he didn't skid right through a 4-way stop. Thank god no one crashed.

Sigh. Time for Texas to act like Texas.
