Frizzle breed?

We got our first frizzle today! She is 2/3 days old. I was wondering if anyone knew what breed she was? She does have feathered feet. Cochin? Pekin? Our local feed store just said they were assorted frizzles.

I’m sorry I have no idea but she’s adorable!!
She looks kind of similar to our gold birchen sablepoot (booted bantam) when she was a chick.
We currently have a selection of polish bantam eggs under our broody Silkie including frizzles... I think half of the fun is seeing how they turn out!

Frizzled cochin bantam. Cochins and Perkins are the same thing, just called different names depending on where you live.

Frizzled cochin bantam. Cochins and Perkins are the same thing, just called different names depending on where you live.

Black frizzle cochin, at present looks like it might turn out smooth but might actually be frizzled. You might know by now.

We bought them as frizzled chicks but you are right! I didn’t think about the fact that you really won’t know for a few weeks.

I really hope she ends up being a frizzle. My daughter has been wanting one so when our local feed store had frizzled chicks we jumped! I should have bought more than one for a better chance having frizzle feathers.
