Frizzle Gender

I have 2 frizzles. Both are about 5 months old. The black one started crowing about a month or so ago. I haven't seen the white one crow. The black ones waddles grew quick but the white ones waddles just started growing recently. Now I'm wondering if I have 2 roosters. The were sparring a bit yesterday. Help!! Is my white one a rooster too? Thank you!

Thank you so much! That's what I was afraid of. This is my first time raising chickens so I have a lot to learn. Can these 2 live together? I keep them separate from my other chickens because they are mean to them.

Yes, you can keep two roosters together.

What kind of mean behavior are you seeing? Could it just be pecking order establishment and attempts to mate or it is more violent?

You should be able to keep those two boys in a pen by themselves. Yep, they'll spar a bit, but it's probably just going to be short term and not a big deal.
