Frizzle Hen Slowly and Mysteriously Losing Feathers, NOT MOLTING

Same exact thing here...seems to be balding for the summer. About 6 months old, she just laid her very first healthy eggs and her neck looks like chicken from the supermarket. Top of her wings too. We don't have any roos here, just adolescent chicks. Sounds like a frizzle thing. Frizzle is technically a defect, a darn cute defect at that.

My 2 frizzle a are exactly the same. Beautiful in the winter and bald in the summer! One of mine only has feathers left on her head and chest. The rest is red and her wings look like skeletons!
I think it is a frizzle thing as non of the others are anywhere near as bad from the boys. My 2 are 4 years old and it seems to be every summer it happens.
