Frizzle thread

Pics
Good news! We have 4 frizzle chicks on the way. I will post pictures later today if I get the chance of mom and dad.

The broody hen is a black frizzle bantam cochin and I believe all or most of the eggs are hers. This is her fist brood and she has been a very dedicated mother so far. The other possible moms are all bantam cochins as well. One other black frizzle, a white frizzle, and my white smooth hen.

Dad is a beautiful, correct white smooth bantam with a great temperament and nice small size.

I am expecting them to hatch in the next week or so and I couldn't be more excited right now!

I posted a little while ago about my frazzle/curly and here he is again fully grown and I was just wondering how he looks as frazzles/curlys go. I've seen a few other frazzles and I think they look rather sickly in comparison. (no offense to others it's just he's mine and naturally better jkjk)

I think he is adorable! I only have frizzles so not sure what the frazzle is suppose to look like, but I think he looks wonderful!

Could anyone answer my question! I took the owners word that they are hens and I really hate to find out he had a mistake.
He said they came from the same mom and that they a Frizzle Hens. Could someone verify the anwers to my question pls!!! God they just have to be hen's!
Also if they are cochin bantams or what. Thanks to all who are there helping!

could someone completely explain to me the difference of a Sizzle then a Frizzles and then the Frazzle. Start by how what gets what and how to tell what is what. I now have a sizzle silkie that I was told was a frizzle when I 1st got it. Explain it to me as you would be to a newbie to these type of chicken! Please, cuz I would really like to understand this from top to bottom!!
My new Frizzle hen? Hen or roo?
It's sister?!
Do Didley,roo sizzle

So now I have these 2 Frizzle hens, that I think is a roo. But I'm hoping is a hen, But I can't tell what it is. Is it a Cochin bantam? Or a Silkie?.

looks like a cochin to me
Another cochin and honestly, they both look like roosters as far as I can tell. I'm not the best at sexing but those wattles are awfully large/
This looks more like a frizzled silkie to me

Frizzled silkie all the rest are frizzled silkies.

Okay so a frazzle is the offspring of two frizzles and they tend to be more brittle feathered. Sizzles are a bit different than a frizzled silkie. Sizzles, I believe, are a breed of their own, while a frizzled silkie appears to be what you have. Frizzled silkies are silkies that were bred with a frizzled bird possibly a sizzle parent, but they're not considered sizzles due to feather shape. I own a frazzle and if you look a few posts up you'll see my frazzle. His feathers are very brittle and they feel like pieces of straw. That's why people say not to breed frizzles to other frizzles, they end up giving you frazzles which are actually a lot of work in my opinion. Your black frizzles at the top appear to be bantam cochins to me, but I can't see the feet. If it has feathered feet I would say yes. Also here's a photo from online just searching sizzles via google images you can see the difference in feather shape.

I wanted to thank you for your reply and state that if anyone care to reply to my posting may join in! I also want to know if anyone can tell if it's a male/female. It looks like my RIR comb wattle/etc. He sold it to me as hens but it was so busy at the fair he could of made a mistake. There were many of his animals there and he seemed to know what he had but I'm still scared I'm getting a roo in hens clothing! lol
