My wife, Kimmi, says that's a couple hours away.

I've been having pretty good luck with getting frizzle chicks lately; I've lost count how many frizzle/silkied frizzle chicks that have hatched this winter.

Wow, some colorful little chicks. I have to wait until summer to hatch. You are making me jealous as I can't seem to get many frizzles. I always seem to pick the wrong eggs to hatch. I can only hatch a few each year.

It was the same for me until I started using this rooster



and then I started getting a higher percentage of frizzle chicks.
When paired with the silkied and frizzle hen below the percentage went
even higher. So far only the one frazzle has been produced with most of the
frizzle being copies of the above rooster when paired to the frizzle hen.

That's a good rooster. I thought ever frizzle to frizzle produced frazzles. Very interesting. I haven't done any real serious breeding, but if I did, I like what you are doing.

They do.
In theory frizzle to non frizzle produces 50% frizzle and 50% non frizzle.
Frizzle to frizzle produces 50% frizzle, 25% non frizzle and 25% frazzle
Frazzle to non frizzle produces 100% frizzle.

If you breed frizzles together enough you will end up with frazzles.
Its pretty much a breeders choice on what they want to bred. I dont do it cause i dont want to produce frazzles and either way in the long run you will end up with 50% frizzles.
