Soooooo I'm starting one LOL Share your piccies of your little, or big, feather dusters. I love my baby boy, Rizz.....right now he has a blue cochin, a splash, and a black mottled, for future girlfriends.....looking forward to preducing some blue mottleds

I love the colors and the feathers on your Cochin

. What is his official color? Is he LF or bantam? I want a LF cochin so bad but have heard they don't do well in the heat. Summers where I live can get to 100 degrees plus for a weeks or so, then drop. It's a dry heat here in California. Do you think a Cochin would do ok here or not?

Thank you both, I adore him.

His color is black mottled, and he's a bantam. Rizz, is also my first cochin, and thanks to him I have added 8 others to the flock. I have a blue, a black mottled, a dark blue mottled, a white, and a splash (those are his girls, all straight feather) And then last weekend I got 3 little Mille Fleur bantam cochin chicks. He has completely addicted me to them.
Hopefully someone will pop in that can answer your heat question.
