Hello Everyone,
I am not new to chickens, but I am new to Poultry Shows. I recently bought sizzles because the were just so cute. I have always thought that a frizzled silkie and a sizzle was the same thing. Through some research, I have gathered that a frizzled Cochin was originally used in her breeding stock for the frizzled feathering, which in turn makes a Sizzle a mutt right?? Even though it was about 14 generations ago that the Cochin was originally used. So, I guess my questions is does frizzle naturally occur in a Silkie, like a Cochin. Is a Sizzle and a Frizzled Silkie the same thing. Do I show them under Silkie or All Other Variety if its a mixed breed?? The lady I bought them from apparently does very well at Poultry shows, but her website said Sizzle are not yet a recognized breed, but are judged to the Silkie Standard. I am SO confused

Thank you to anyone who responds
