I see this name coming up, what is the difference between the two and what are they, I saw some pics of the Frizzles, but, not the Sizzles, gee whizzles, given me the giggles. I may write a poem.

Do a search, there was a thread last week(?) with some funny pics.

A haiku for you:

Two sizzles have I,
Only one caught the frizzles,
Cute fluffly buttoms.

A frizzle is any bird that has curley feathers. A Sizzle is a Frizzled Cochin crossed with a Silkie in the first generation. Then they are bred for Silkie traits but with hard feathers not Silkie feathers. My avatar is a Splash Sizzle

Frizzle describes the curley feathering on some birds and many different breeds of birds come with frizzle feathers like cochins and polish. Sizzles are an actual breed that is being developed by using silkies and frizzled cochins.

Shady, I don't in any way mean to sound argumentative but the first photo is a Sizzle not a Frizzled Silkie. Frizzled Silkies have Silkie feathers. Just wanted to clarify since this topic keeps coming up and there is confusion which leads to bad information.

umm, i understand what you r saying, but when brough her to a show, the head of the show told me that she would be put under frizzled silkie, the term of sizzle came out becouse of the frizzle silkie so they call it sizzle.

i know that they are still in the works for approval.
