Hi Shay! Maybe it's genetic if yours cuddle together too! Mine just pile on top of each other as far in a corner as they can go. I made a little cut-out box that looks like a mini dog house and put a curtain in front of it instead of letting them sleep in the favorite nesting box.
While I've got your ear...when did your Frizzles start to lay? Mine are 5 months old and have not even started to think about it yet! (of course I have a white silkie that's almost 10 mos old who hasn't laid yet either!)
I'm still not sure if any of them are roosters, but they make a hysterical cooing noise that I've never heard any of my other chickens make, hopefully that's not a pre-Cock-a-doodle-doooo sound! I love these quirky little puff balls, they are a riot to watch run b/c their legs are so short!!!
LOL .
they take long just like the silkies, mine started laying at 6 months.
do ou have new pics of them now? I am still thinking you may have all 3 girls.
Shay, here are pictures of them that I took today. Any gender guesses? I think Rachel (red) is a definite hen, but Monica (black) & Phoebe (white), ????? Let me know what you think!
