I can see them! How fabulous! What time is it? ...I did something similar (but cheaper) for hatching eggs. I had some family in the south of England and more in France and the Czech Republic who wanted to watch. It was a pain getting it to work, but it was rather cool.

Unfortunately the time doesn't display for "Visitor"

It was a bit of a pain getting the coop cam up and running. Coop is back into a woods a bit and when the trees are in full leaf, coop is hard to see. Can't be seen at all from the upstairs master bedroom. So I wanted a means to check on them from the house.

I just changed permissions so "visitor" can now pan and tilt. Trying going to "Audio video" and click "OSD" (on screen display) and pick a color. This will put a time and date stamp on the bottom right corner of your screen.

Thanks for that, that was amazing. My other half was very impressed. I think he'd like to do the same thing, but our main coop is a few miles away, so the electric run would be a bit long... not to mention the number of gardens and driveways we'd have to dig up on the way!

What have you got planned for the run floor?

i had forgotten you had this cam set up. you are brilliant. i don't even know how to get to where i can see your coop via cam.

they are the funniest ever. my young ones just joined the coop with my four big girls. the ruckus at night while they are getting settled is so funny. the little ones on the floor are yelling, pushing, shoving to get the best cuddle spot. the big girls watch them from their roost. of course that is after the big girls have pushed each other, climbed over the top of each other & rearranged two or three times to their satisfaction.
my barred rock goes to bed extra early every night. i think it is so she can get the best spot. unfortunately for her, the bo just nose dives under her & takes her place. i don't know what's so darn special about that spot.

we are very different in our approach. i too studied before hand & got as prepared as possible - but that didn't stop me from getting up 3-4 times a night for the first week & many times after that. your approach is better, but mine is compelled.
