Yeah. He didn't draw blood or anything. I think he was just warning him.Definitely keep an eye on him. He can do some damage to young kids

Grinch can join Pelican, Thales, Lucky, Kithara, and the rooster I can't remember their name and haven't had time to figure it outYou don't mind!?! USPS is back open Tuesday...
Free range would be ok probably for Grinch as long as there are no predators, the silkies could but are more susceptible to not make it.
Idk about rollers but definitely hair all crazy from rolling around while sleeping. Will you be entertaining the neighbors by going out and obsessively watching the nesting box with pjxs on, rollers in your hair, and a crazy chicken lady coffee mug?![]()
Yes, chickens eat sand. They also eat small rocks and other grit that will help them break down their food so it is easier to digest. This is Cinnamon. The one I suspect is laying the egg I found this morning.
Also. Didn't know chickens ate sand.
It is a good thing that Snape was trying to protect his females, that is always a plus when it comes to having a male. I would flog anything that ran towards me as well, I would take that as a threat. It is best to put a stop to your kids running at roosters or the hens, as that will only make the male more aggressive when he sees humans threatening them.He was doing good but today he jumped at my 7 year old. Scratched him on the arm a bit. I didn't see what happened before. I am assuming he was running towards the chickens. Snape isn't a bad roo....just...strict? He is still on probation but after today he might wanna find a new job if he keeps it up.
Woo Hoo, the egg machines are running!Yall. I officially have a 2nd egg layer!! Idk who this is, but since it's color is pale pinkish brown, I'm assuming it's my brown egg layers?
Also, good to see Ms. Dolly Parton in all her featherless glory![]()
I was thinking a feather boa with jewels embedded in it.Now now, she's not completely featherless. Those chickens look terrible! She just has a featherless neck. I wonder how a chocker would look on her...
