from the hatch cubby to the floor?

Ok I've got a ?
A hen hatches a brood of eggs in the top part of a nesting box set.
How do they get down and out?
I assume I need to move em?

They might very well jump out on their own with resultant possible injury. If they were mine, I would move them.

I did. I was worried. I had her with her peeps last spring. I had her in a covered dog crate. This time I have a nice rubbermaid dog house so I put it in there days ago so they'd be used to it. Then I bedded it with straw. I just finished moving the peeps to the house and her eggs and then her and she fluffed right up and settled in. There is a feeder and waterer in there too and I put a short board across to keep em safe. 2 were dead, probably crushed so I am glad I moved em. Thanks. I always say listen to the voices hehehe. 6 more eggs to go.
