Gorgeous! You guys are making it hard to wait until spring to order our turkey and meat chicks.

Katy! You're telling me what I want to hear! It is certainly a beautiful baby. I love how the splashes change as they grow and each one is a little different. I have someone who wants to buy it if its a boy already, but I sure am hoping for my splash pullet.

Now, the problem is making them fit in the brooder for three weeks till all the chicks in the nursery coop are gone and I can move them out there. It'll be a very tight fit!

Really pretty chicks Cynthia. I hope to be hatching some myself in about 2 1/2 weeks. My incubator is so full I have eggs rolling in the cracks of the turner. I know that will change when I candle in 3 days.

Julie, from this week's hatches, I got six Orpingtons; a splash, as you know, plus at least two blacks and I guess the rest are blue-between all the black BRs and black Ameraucana and Orpingtons, they need to grow feathers so I can see what I actually have in the way of Orp colors. Just looks like a sea of black chicks right now! Check out the Blue Orpington pullet chick under my Raising Chicks (Gabriel & Company) She has some nice lacing, I think. Too bad she's spoken for.
